Howdy August Part 2

I followed your advice, Joanne.
If you don't know, Joanne, then I would recommend you remedy this by visiting her blog, Cup on a Bus. She always gives great advice and I decided to listen to her this time.
I took a break.
For the last few weeks, we had a lot going on with summer winding down and school starting up so I  joined Mr. Shife's mental load management program for the purpose of making up a fake thing to create sympathy for myself while the fact of the matter was that I was just being lazy for the past two weeks.
Anyway, I am back.
I still haven't figured out a cadence yet on when I will post blog updates but I will worry about that later.
Hope you are doing swell, I look forward to reading your updates and I will talk to you soon.

Lava Hot Springs

We spent a few days at one of our favorite places, Lava Hot Springs, to wind down summer.
The kids are a little older every time we visit and they get a little more adventurous.
This year, they decided to tackle the big waterfall on the river that we float.
And they were successful.

HBD Ms. Frizzle

The loveliest lab and the best girl turned 7.
Ms. Frizzle got to go on a few walks, play in the water, got lots of love, extra treats, minimal butt chomps from Lucy and a frozen dessert on her special day.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  10. A break is always called for when one feels like taking one! I am not so adventurous as your two--yikes. Of course, I'm also not a strong swimmer so I'm a little scared of the water. Loved the memes and several of them hit home like the shirt and the two emails a day. Yes, indeed.

  11. I'll have two of those Mimosa Brunchables, please.
And that looks like fun! Lava Hot Springs sounds fab, as it does Mental Load Management Program. Would love to get me some of both.

I love Lava Hot Springs, but it's been over 20 years since I was there. Idaho is blessed with hot springs! Glad you got a way for a bit. I'm still having problems posting on some blogs. -Jeff. https://fromarockyhillside.com
