Some thoughts I thought this week:

  • Who killed the Prick? Hopefully, we find out tomorrow on the season finale of "Bad Sisters"
  • I miss using a bidet. I might have to see if I have been on the nice list and ask Santa for it.
  • Really proud of Kyle. He improved his time by 49 seconds to set a new PR during his final cross-country race of the season. He ran the 3K (1.86 miles) in 13:51.3, which is about a 7:27 mile pace.
It was also neat watching him transform over the season and become passionate about running.
  • I might have turned the corner on raisins. For the longest time, I thought putting raisins in cookies was an abonimation and I have been duped more than a few times when I thought the raisins were chocolate chips. But I don't mind them or maybe the love of a cookie outweighs my raisin disdain.

"It's better to look like chunky peanut butter than chunky mayonaisse."

Lucrizzle update

Frizz and Lucy are doing good.
They way they play made me think of the song sung by Zach Galifianakis in "The Hangover."

And we're the three two best friends that anybody could have
We're the three twobest friends that anyone could have
We're the three two best friends that anyone could have
And we'll never, never, ever, ever, ever leave each other
We're the best three two friends that anybody could have
I mean, the three two best friends that anybody could have
That's right, the three two best friends that anybody could have

Thanks for stopping by.

I will be the stream.

  1. Great memes…especially the fart one. I used to daydream about someone lettin’ loose of a really big juicy one while I was sitting in college classes. What would happen? Lol, I never did find out, because I wasn’t willing for it to be me.

Congratulations, Kyle! Isn’t it great when your kids find a sport they enjoy?

Love those pics of Lucy and Frizz playing. Are you wishing you were the 3 in the best friends category??? Haha

  3. I didn't know it was possible to have both FOMO and JOMO, lmao. I don't like raisins, my husband loves oatmeal raisin cookies, I think they're gross.

    Have a great week!

Oh, those memes. You may have ruined Ghost for me, now. But it was worth it.
I agree with your barber, though. Even though I've never gotten a spray tan. I cannot even imagine. And those doggies are way too cute!!!

    XOXO

  5. Congrats to Kyle!!!!
Nice that Lucy and Ms. Frizzle are bonding; that makes life so much easier.
I've never had a spray tan, and don't think I'll ever get one, but if I do, I'm stealing Richard's line.

  6. Well, now, Lucy has settled right in and you still have your bottom lip. I knew it would all work out in the end. Congratulations Kyle!

  7. I am definitely in the JOMO club, especially as I get older. We often think of getting another cat so Abe would have a buddy but it would have to also have FeLV and then when Faith moves out some day it would be harder to find a place that takes multiple cats. But ya never know!

  8. I love JOMO and wrote a post about it a while ago. Warm raisins do me in but if they're cold I'm OK. I love chocolate covered raisins for example. Yay for Kyle! I need to get back into my running; I've gotten way too lazy lately. (or busy with the grandson?)

  11. Raisins in cookies?! NO NO NO!

  12. Do people still get spray tans? Now you’ve answered my pondering. Omg, I’m in love with the phrase JOMO! Thank you for the introduction.

  13. I didn't remember Demi Moore was unable to make both pots AND tacos without a man behind her :).

  14. Good for Kyle! One of the joys of my life is watching my 2 dogs play. Oh, and you can keep the bidet.

  15. Perhaps it is because I live in a large hispanic culture I know that Demi isn't making tacos. She is making tamales and nothing beats a fresh tamale!

I think I'm just a sucker for cookies. Raisins have always been fair game in my world.

  16. Ok TMI here but Amazon sells a portable/travel bidet that works very well. Is there anything more disappointing than biting into a cookie thinking they're chocolate chips only to find raisins? Love the dog pic!

  17. Your dogs are too cute.
See, now if you put raisins and chocolate chips into the cookie batter, you won't have to choose between the two.

  18. Sorry, I still can't raisin. I hope you've been good so that Santa brings your bidet. Woot! for Kyle. I have 2 athletic children and 2 who run wrong. lol. They've got other talents. Love the memes. JOMO is my life.
