Day 12 of my September challenge.

It looks like it is going be Ms. Lucy the basset hound.
Mabel is barely hanging on but I think it is OK to call it.
I really, really wanted to call her Lady Dynamite or Lady D
But that went over as well as a fart in a car.
Anyhoo, day 1 with Lucy went well.
Ms. Frizzle still isn't sold but I think she will be OK in a couple of days.
It took her about three before she warmed up to Rocky.

Talk to you tomorrow.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

    1. I think Lucy will suit her well especially after we come up more nicknames for her, Bijoux.

  3. Lucy is great too! I would call her and see which name she responds to. :) I wouldn't dare bring another cat or dog into this household. Mari is extremely territorial. Dogs are nicer.

  4. Lucy's fine, even if she isn't a red head. You do know that basset hounds get big, don't you?

  9. Ooh. The baleful gaze of a Bassett hound is specifically designed to render you powerless to scold when she chews your shoe or pees in a corner.
