Day 12 of my September challenge.
It looks like it is going be Ms. Lucy the basset hound.
Mabel is barely hanging on but I think it is OK to call it.
I really, really wanted to call her Lady Dynamite or Lady D
But that went over as well as a fart in a car.
Anyhoo, day 1 with Lucy went well.
Ms. Frizzle still isn't sold but I think she will be OK in a couple of days.
That is just the sweetest thing! I really liked Mabel as it seems to go with her look. Oh well!
ReplyDeleteI think Lucy will suit her well especially after we come up more nicknames for her, Bijoux.
DeleteThat last photo!!! Kill me.
ReplyDeleteA little flat furball, Bob. Melted my heart.
DeleteLucy is great too! I would call her and see which name she responds to. :) I wouldn't dare bring another cat or dog into this household. Mari is extremely territorial. Dogs are nicer.
ReplyDeleteIt is Lucy all the way, Margaret.
DeleteLucy's fine, even if she isn't a red head. You do know that basset hounds get big, don't you?
ReplyDeleteI am well aware, Dave R. I grew up with them.
DeleteMrs. Frizzle will teach her manners.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed, Joanne.
DeleteOh my heart - that last picture!!!!! Five exclamation marks and I could have added more :) I remember that you love bassets and I'm so glad for you that you have a new one. Ms Frizzle: It will be okay. You will love this little one. She'll be such a good pal!
ReplyDeleteThank you, jenny_o. I do love them and so glad to have a puppy.
DeleteOh. My. Gawwwwdddd.
ReplyDeleteThat doggie is absolutely adorable!!!!
XOXO
She is pretty wonderful, Sixpence.
DeleteOhhh, what a little sweetie! The dog's cute, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deedles. I am a big fan of both of them.
DeleteOoh. The baleful gaze of a Bassett hound is specifically designed to render you powerless to scold when she chews your shoe or pees in a corner.
ReplyDeleteShe will fill in that bed eventually :)
ReplyDeletethat last photo of her..omg...so sweet
