Booyah!

We are celebrating our own version of March Madness this week as the kids are on spring break.
I was going to use that as an excuse to not update the blog but you, yes you, my amazing and talented blogging friend, deserve better.
Unfortunately, you are not going to find that here.
You are now entering the Inferior Zone.
But, if better is what you want, then I would suggest visiting Imgur or Hot Guys and Baby Animals
I might be a dumb, white guy but I know my audience.
So I apologize for being a hot mess this week but I am counting down the hours until I can have a cocktail.
But I didn't forget my manners so thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great rest of your week.
And remember:

Be kind. Rewind.
Keep it real.
Wax on. Wax off.
Yo quiero Taco Bell.
Where’s the beef?
Take a chill pill.
Avoid the Noid.
Give a hoot, don't pollute.
Check yourself before you wreck yourself.
Stop yourself before you drop yourself.
Slow down before we throw down.
How much wood could a wood chuck chuck?
Hot diggity.
All that and a bag of chips.
Well alright alright alright.
What's the dilly?
Talk to the hand.
Yada, yada, yada.
Be there or be square.
Be there or enjoy private cooking lessons from this cool cat named Javier.

Be there or go out with the love child of Susan Boyle and a bear.

Be there or meet your new overzealous neighbor who enjoys bug removal and is named Pierre.

Bye.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  1. I had a few drinks last weekend. I don't drink much anymore. Only socially when I'm out with others.

  2. Those sayings certainly took me back! I still have a slew of VHS tapes. Happy(?) Spring Break! It is what you make of it. ;)

  3. I enjoyed that list. My fave to use with my family is Talk to the Hand, with Give a Hoot, Don’t Pollute a close second for those who don’t clean up after themselves.
I wasn’t a fan of that first picture. It’s a little too porno/S&M for me. Lol!

  5. The problem with both of those links is that they involve dogs, and I don't like them much.

    Anyway, enjoy your Spring break!

  6. Sage advice.
    I'm listening.

  7. You forgot "don't take any wooden nickels". That was the only advice I could think of to tell our son when we dropped him at university for the first time. Anything more appropriate would have made him cringe. Cringe more, I mean :)

Have a great March break! I hope time slows down so you feel like you've had a really long break.

  8. That is a fine old list. I even saw a couple I've uttered recently. And that last fellow, with the overhang belly! My girlfriend's husband looks like that. Makes me sad.

  9. You may be surprised to find this out, but Pierre lives two blocks up and his real name is Hidalgo. He's really good with lightning bugs!!!

    1. That is good to know, Dave R. Please tell Hidalgo hello from me.

  10. Great post with a good list! I have to admit I love those bug zappers, but thank goodness I don't look like that guy!

Happy Spring Break! Goddess. It came right on time.
And I had not been to Imgur in a century! LOL
BTW, the love child of Susan Boyle and a bear? Slightly disturbing. Just slightly, but disturbing nonetheless.
    Hot diggity!

    XOXO

Enjoy spring break. Ours starts next weekend and I was much in demand to dog sit!

  14. We've had our spring break. Met up with our daughter in Hilton Head, SC. Had a nice week together, walked the beach a bit (some days not nice enough to), and had a couple of very nice meals out...a first. Fingers crossed after everyone's spring breaks, the numbers stay down. Enjoy your time with the kiddo's. By the by, I'm a pretty good bar keep (says my hubby). I can you a good Martini, Manhattan, and or Old Fashion. We generally have our cocktails about 6:30 pm. My Dad used to call that, the period of adjustment.

  18. No one ever figured out how much wood a woodchuck could chuck...it keeps me wondering to this day.
