Mr. Shife's February Frenzy Day 14

To those who celebrate... Happy Valentine's Day!
To those who don't... Happy Day 45 of 2021!
Only 44 more Saturdays until Christmas!

I will try and do better tomorrow.

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.

  1. We are not Valentine's celebrants. It's a bit too made up for us!

  3. Well, that was a bit disturbing but hey, good for those who are getting some hotel sex during Covid!

  8. We normally don't do much to celebrate. In other years we would go out a couple days before the actual day for a evening meal at our favorite restaurant. Since that isn't an option this year, I found a place selling a four course takeout meal so I did that. My wife approved! I even gained some more marital points by doing the dishes which involved throwing all the takeout containers in the trash.

  10. The C word, ugh. Perhaps I'll get to see one (or both?) of my daughters for Christmas 2021. Playing House Party games together from thousands of miles away wasn't the same.

  12. Oh my gosh, don't tell me you are one of those people. I've got a friend who posts cheerful little Christmas reminders all year around. Except for that (major) character flaw, she's really a lovely person.

    1. I am definitely not, Margaret. I only acknowledge it after Thanksgiving. I hate that they start putting out Christmas stuff in October.
