T-Minus 19 Days

She would have been 71 today.
It does get easier but it doesn't.
Does that make sense?
I stopped by her tree today to wish her a happy birthday.
In Mom's typical fashion, she let me know that she was still looking out for me and the family.
It's probably a coincidence but it gives me comfort.
After I visited her tree, I ran a few errands and then came home.
The power went out this afternoon.
"Great. This is exactly what we need," I mumbled to myself.
I thought a nap was a better idea than worrying about when the power might come back on.
I was out for about 20 minutes when the power did come back on and woke me up.
Mrs. Shife was nearby on her phone and she noticed the time.
"It's 4:24," she said.
And I smiled.
My birthday is 4/24 and ever since my Mom passed away, I see the number 424 randomly.
Another example was when Mrs. Shife and I went out for dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the bill was $42.40.

Thanks for all of the questions.
I look forward to answering them.

I hope to do better tomorrow.
Stay safe, take care and thanks for being there.

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.
