I was supposed to be here today:
For the love of fat bassets, I really picked the wrong month to make no complaining my challenge.
But all joking aside, we are fine and making the best of it.
I hope you and yours are well.
Stay safe, take care and I will talk to you tomorrow.
I also need to look at the map below for some weekend travel ideas.
And that only makes sense if you have seen "Anchorman":
Yep. Me and Mrs. Shife were going to spend 4 days there but the universe had other ideas.
We are still in Boise, which of course in German means "social distancing."

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.

Best laid plans, no?
ReplyDeleteAnd the disruption this COVID19 has brought is mind blowing.
Glad you and your family are well. Who would have thunk Social Distancing would become so useful?
XOXO

ReplyDeleteWell, I did snigger at that. Keep looking for the fun things and not the things that are upsetting the world right now.
Hope you and the family are doing okay. Keep smiling, my friend.
These are strange times we're living in... In my community, they just stopped running the fork lifts at the marina, meaning there will be no more sailing until this is over. I'll have to suffer, but at least still have a job. BTW, Idaho is a nice state. Back in the late 80s, I ran a camp in the Sawtooths, north of Ketchum/Sun Valley for a couple of summers--great memories.

Having been this ( ) close
ReplyDeleteto a real whale, several times,
you don't want to go there...!
I was in a play once where the guy never left his apartment. I'm relating more now. I've been watching a lot of the online streaming concerts and I'm looking forward to the Roger Clyne one this Friday. There's one tonight at 7PM Central time for Andrew Leahey and the Homestead on Facebook that you ought to check out. He's a touring vet of a few Peacemakers tours.
ReplyDeleteAnd you could also go for a sugar high, like that little girl. Whew, she was stunned!
ReplyDeleteWe planned a vacation this year but not until after Christmas into the New Year. I'd like to say we'll be able to go for sure but everything seems to unknown right now. Looking forward to some exciting 'at home' stories for the next 30 days.
ReplyDeleteYeah, please disregard my comment on your previous post about the calculator because it would give 32 days and we all know that's just wrong. lol
ReplyDeleteA shame your plans were upended. A trip to the living room simply does not compare. However, hopefully this is temporary and we all will have learned some new things about ourselves and some new skills for coping by the time life resumes. Personally I am enjoying not having to go out, because I'm pretty anti-social in real life. But most people aren't feeling like that.
