April is done.
Thirty days, thirty posts and I’m still standing.
Thirty days, thirty posts and I’m still standing.
I’ve decided my victory lap involves zero festivities and maximum napping.
But here is my dirty little secret: I cannot nap in silence.
If I don't have a podcast, music or some random background noise playing, my brain starts conducting an audit.
And my internal auditor is such a dick.
It’s the only way I can get some peace.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a date with a nap and a very boring podcast about the history of PowerPoint presentations.

I've never needed a nap unless I've been really sick. But staying asleep at night has always been a challenge for me. I've had some success with cognitive shuffling (google can explain it better than me).
