Happy birthday, Hayden!

I can hardly believe that you are 14 today!!

For the love of the fattest bassets, these years have flown by—and I’ve loved every second of it.
From our early cartoon marathons to our late-night horror movies, being your dad has been the kind of adventure I’d never trade for anything.

You bring so much laughter, creativity and light into my life—being your dad is truly one of the best parts of who I am. Thank you for being yourself and for making every day better just by being in it.

I hope this year brings you all the joy, confidence and memories you can dream up.
I’ll always be cheering you on, no matter where life takes you.
