Thought of the day

I am out sick today.
Such good times.
I will be administering NyQuil shortly, and the next stop will be multilingual fever dreams and hopefully a return flight to functioning human.
I will swing by your blogs and say hello as soon as I am feeling better.
Take care of yourself.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  2. I spent an hour this morning driving down to the local health clinic to get my flu and covid shot specifically so I don't end up like the sad sack you are! Well I got vaccinated anyway. Hopefully you get better soon.

  3. I hope you feel better very soon. I had a tooth extracted this morning, so I'm not 100%, either. We will both live. (I hope)

  5. It's always surprising how awful the common cold can be. I tend to obsessively look at my throat with a flashlight when it's sore. I feel your pain! Get well soon!

  6. Get better soon, Matt! When I taught, this time of year was always when I got nasty colds. Too many people, many weather changes, tiredness, who knows?

  14. Sheesh! I grew up with that Vicks jar on my nose. You posted this on the 23 and it's the 28 so you should be more than half way through your malady. Remember, there's always a light at the end of the nauseating tunnel.
