Thought of the day

You know it’s going to be a five-star day when that sacred TV cart rolled into the classroom.
Guaranteed instant joy.
Almost as good as cancelling homework.
Honestly, I meant to post something deep and meaningful this week, but my social calendar was packed, work was extremely busy, and my workout plan for this week included two leg days at the gym.

Just imagine if the bathroom was upstairs.
The horror.

So, please enjoy this meme dump.
Wishing a weekend as glorious as surprise movie day!
Talk to you soon.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  1. Leg day? It's always the stairs! It's even worse when you have to go down stairs to get to the sidewalk! And Meatbird simply because it's better than fowlbird.

  2. OMG these all had me howling!! Thank you! The sports bra did me in I admit, but all of them are perfect and I may need to steal. 😏

  3. You'll find that toilet seat gets closer and closer to the floor the older you get.
The last meme is my favorite.

Oh, the TV in the classroom was absolute mayhem. You KNEW nothing would get done.
And I think I need that bachelorette party mug for my office.

    XOXO

  5. Hon, deep and meaningful is way overrated! I much prefer shallow and funny. You delivered, thank you! I went to school with Pebbles and Bam-Bam. We had projectors and slide shows.

  8. I had that same TV and a VHS player in my classroom! Depending on how I've exercised, coming downstairs can be more painful than going up.

  9. I don't think it is an age thing but perhaps it is a geographical thing since I grew up in a rural and very poor area. We didn't have a TV cart. We only had a reel to reel movie player cart. The feelings were the same and it got even better if I was the one picked to thread the film through the machine and turn it on.
