Thought of the day
Here's what you get when I send you an electronic mail:
Thanks,
Matt
Matt
So boring.
Let's spice it up.
Here's what I came up with.
Let me know which one you like the best.
- With a touch of pizazz and sprinkle of glitter,
- Over and snout,
- Without my ducks in a row,
- Feeling hamburger helpless,
- On the brink of tears,
- Stressfully,
- We ride at dawn,
- Searching for my marbles,
- Thinking outside the bun,
- Throwing it on the back burner,
- Sitting in utter confusion,
- Roll the credits,
- Derp,
- Worst,
- Neutral regards,
- Alright alright alright,
- Hasta la pasta,
- Lukeward regards,
- Bringing the disharmony,
- Do less more,
- I went pee pee in the coke,
- Running in circles,
- No significant changes welcome,
- Not widely accepted,
- Floating someone's boat,
Talk to you tomorrow.
I enjoyed "Sitting in Utter Confusion," and I will put it into play!
ReplyDeleteLet me know how it works out.
DeleteI vote for #17 -- Hasta la pasta!
ReplyDeleteDuly noted.
DeleteI think you should use the sign off that matches the tone of the email. But would you be fired?
ReplyDeletePeople would be surprised to what I’m singing along to in my Honda CRV 🤣
I think you need to tell us, Bijoux!
DeleteGangsta’s Paradise and Pony, just to name a few.
DeleteWith work related emails, I would only recommend using #3. For personal emails, any of the others would be acceptable.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback, Ed. Lukewarm regards, Matt
DeleteI choose 3, 6, or 7.... depending on my mood.
ReplyDeleteAll of these depend on my mood. Today I am feeling #20.
Delete15 is usually how I feel, so I'm going with that. :)
ReplyDeleteExcellent choice, Margaret.
DeleteAny of them could be fun...but maybe run the list by your boss for their opinion? :-)
ReplyDeleteI live dangerously, Kathy!
Delete#1 or #5, depending on how your day is going! I read #4 as "feeling hamburgerless" at first, which might be a contender for my own sign-offs. These are hilarious, Mr. S :)
