Thought of the day

Watching anything good lately?
I've been hooked on "The Pitt" on Max.
It's truly captivating.
Exceptional writing, acting, and an insane level of realism.
There's an episode that depicts childbirth, and it is next-level bonkers on how intense it is.
The characters are also finely crafted, making it easy to become invested in their stories.
One thing I really like is that the characters' personal lives don't take precedence over the patients.
No love triangles or over-the-top drama.
Yep, I am talking about you, "Grey's Anatomy."
The show also offers a welcome escape from reality, even though it tackles some heart-wrenching and challenging themes.
It also has some of the people who created ER, including Noah Wylie, aka Dr. Carter.
Can you tell that I really, really like the show?
Do you have anything you would recommend?

Thanks for stopping by, hope you are well, and I will talk to you soon.

Meme dump

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  2. Problem creating skills? Can that be on a resume? My husband is watching The Pitt. I can't handle another medical drama. I recommend The Traitors for full-on reality escape.

  3. I got hooked on Yellowstone so have been following the prequels of 1883 and just recently 1923 which had it's finale. Now I wait patiently for 1944, another prequel and The Madison, a sequel set in today's time. It's like the Sopranos but with cowboys.

    1. I didn't make it past 1883, Ed. I should like it because I love Westerns but the drama was a little too much for me.

    1. It's worth getting the service especially now that season 1 is over. You can probably watch it during a 7-day free trial.

  7. I watched Bernie last night on CNN, caught a few innings of baseball earlier in the month. I'm not the person to ask about TV shows.

    1. I hope you enjoyed the baseball, Jeff. My team stinks so no joy in mudville for me.

  8. Recently I binge-watched the series "Mid-Century Modern" which is kind of like "The Golden Girls" but with gay men instead. It's very funny!

  10. We watched North of North last night on Netflix and we both really liked that. It's a comic drama set in Nunavut in an Inuit community. It's one season, 8 episodes, but I think it will be renewed.
