 Thought of the day

Do you celebrate Valentine's Day?
Normally, we do not.
However, I was inspired by some Valentine's Day dog cards that I saw on Instagram and thought I would give it a try.
What do you think?

I hope your Thursday is wonderful, and if you partake in Valentine's Day festivities, I hope it's amazing.
Thanks for swinging by and I will talk to you soon.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  1. Minimally, usually a card and perhaps a plant or some chocolates. We NEVER go out! None of my partners (nor I) like crowds.

  3. There is definitely a market out there for your valentine cards! If I celebrated, I'd commission one featuring Pat.

  4. OMG Mr. Shife!
    These are ADORABLE!
I do and do not celebrate Valentine's: I sometimes get something for some people during VDay but I usually get things for them, so it's kind of a continuum instead of a peak. I try to tell people I love that I love them quite regularly.
    Happy Valentine's!!

    XOXO

  5. I got Valentines for the grands, but no. Tim and I do not celebrate it.

  6. Yeah, we call it Alentine's Ay. 'Cause we're not getting the V or the D this year. HAHAHA

  8. We do not celebrate Hallmark Holidays. It's kind of amateur day, for people who think one day a year to show love is enough.

  9. Do you really think I need Valentine's Day to spoil my pup?

  13. We will be going out for a Valentine's lunch tomorrow. Much easier than fighting the crowds for dinner.

  14. We usually go out to eat in the days before after today. I usually do flowers too during the week before or the week afterwards. I do usually get a card to for the actual day. This year, due to circumstances, we just got back from a sushi lunch which we went to at 11 just as the place was opening. I am getting ready to start a fire in the fireplace and spend the rest of the day with my sweety lounging in front of it and reading a good book. Perhaps later tonight we might cook up a meal.

  15. Cute cards. We don't give each other gifts or special cards. We generally just have a nice meal at home. We didn't last night, it was Friday which for many years has been our pizza night. We didn't want to disrupt our tradition, so we'll have a nice meal this evening instead. Hubby will cook some steaks on the grill, we'll have baked potatoes and small salad, good bottle of wine (we always have wine with dinner, but we'll buy a better bottle for tonight), and cheesecake.

  17. Adorable cards! We sometimes celebrate, or rather Ron gets me gifts but I only sometimes get him one and it’s usually just candy/snacks. I make cards, so how bad was it that I didn’t even give him one this year. After over 40 years, it just didn’t seem necessary. 😂
