Thought of the day
I am getting closer to earning that Best Dad Ever badge.
I took Hayden and her friend shopping for their Halloween costumes.
Two 12-year-olds and me on the Saturday before All Hallow's Eve.
It was a little bonkers out there.
And after 4 hours of shopping, we found everything we needed.
They are going as cowgirls and I will share their outfits on the big day.
Happy Saturday!
"I'm completely booked for the day," LOL!
ReplyDeleteI am going to add it to my list of work excuses.
DeleteThat looks like a major project that might take two days after a day of planning.
ReplyDeletePlan ahead is what they say.
DeleteTo be fair, a duvet cover is quite a task!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Chocolate Covered Brussel Sprouts??? Leave the chocolate off mine!
I am pretty sure we lost a basset hound in ours.
DeleteGood for you! Halloween costumes were not my favorite part of the holiday. The candy was and is! I love brussels sprouts and chocolate--but not together.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Margaret.
DeleteDid your day involve trips to thrift stores? That’s always interesting….
ReplyDeleteAlmost exclusively thrift stores.
DeleteTaking two pre-teens girls shopping should CERTAINLY get you an award!
ReplyDeleteThey kept me entertained.
DeleteI'm surprised you had the energy to post after a four hour shopping excursion (with or without pre-teens!). That first meme is a great idea!!
ReplyDeleteI will do almost anything to make you guys happy.
DeleteYay! I hope the kids have a great Halloween. :)
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteMy daughter took her son out to pick out a Halloween costume too.
ReplyDeleteHope they found a good one.
DeleteThose duvet covers can take all day!
ReplyDeleteThat's the rumor.
DeleteLooking forawrd to the cowgirls... i didn't know chocolate covered Brussels Sprouts were a trick.
ReplyDeleteMe either.
