 Thought of the day

How do you feel about massages?
They are OK.
But I still get a little creeped out by a stranger touching me.
Especially when I am naked.
Yes, I get down to my birthday suit when I get massaged.
I don't want anything to impede the massaging process.
And usually being nude for a massage is not a problem.
Until yesterday.
I guess it is frowned upon to get down to your bare essentials when you are only getting a foot massage.
You live and learn.
And, for the love of the fattest bassets, do not search for "getting a foot massage naked."
I didn't realize this was such a big fetish for some people.

Meme dump

Thanks for swinging by and saying hello.
Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and I will talk to you soon.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  1. I remember that Arrested Development episode. 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve only had one massage and it made me feel uncomfortable, but it’s been 28 years, so I suppose I could try again.

  2. Totally true about the dog nicknames. And yes.... that second one rings true quite often, as well.

  3. I have made it more than half of my life without a massage so I guess I'll just coast on through the rest of it without one too.

  4. Hahahaha
Oh well. I don't do massages a lot, unless I'm doing physical therapy for my back, that is. I find them absolutely relaxing (I've had two) and I usually fall asleep. And I refuse to get naked unless I'm getting some nookie.

And I think I'm going to start taking super hot showers!

    XOXO

    1. Me either. I get too tense because a stranger touching me isn't a favorite of mine.

  5. You better not get a pedicure then; that would be very uncomfortable for all :) Great meme's today! Most I could not repeat on FB though, ha.

  6. Hahahahaha, yes, you DO have to be careful about what you google!

  7. There must be a better way to say that unless they're going for innuendo. :) I've gotten a couple massages and they're OK, but too expensive and yes, awkward. I had one in Hawaii from a guy and it wasn't as uncomfortable as I thought it might be. What do guys prefer? Another guy or a woman? I would prefer another woman but I'm not sure about men.

    1. I don't really like massages, Margaret. I am not a fan of strangers touching me. I just wanted to write a silly blog post this week since I was a little serious last week.

  8. I've had traditional, foot, and chair massages, but the most unique one was a Thai massage. Instead of a standard table I laid on a mat on the floor. The masseuse used her entire body (including her elbows, knees, and feet). I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

  9. Tuxedo was called Tuck, Tucky, Kentucky, Tuck-a-luck-a-ding-dong, The Great Tuxedo, the Most Handsome Cat and those rare times he was bad: MotherTucker.

MaxGoldberg was Max, Maxxie, Mackie, Mackie Jackie, G, and Dr. Goldberg of the Boca Raton Goldbergs.

Consuelo was first called Consuelo Roca Jones but, at least for me, it has evolved into calling her Squee and Squee Squiddle.

Rosita has been called RoTo, Roto-rooter, Rotisserie, Rosie, Ro, Herro [sounds like Hello] and yesterday she became Rosita Conchita Alonzo.

Ozzo was O, Ozzoli, OzzoLitrozzo, Little O, Big O and, when he was bad, COME HERE!!!!

    Enjoy the holiday weekend Shifes!

  10. I once had a series of massages for an incredibly sore shoulder. Turned out to be a torn rotator cuff. May your naked foot fare better.

No guys touching me. Girls only.

  12. As far back as I can remember, and that's pretty far, I've never had a massage and probably never will. And here's a little known fact, I used to go drinking in Kenosha, and there are a lot of holes.

  13. My sister treated me to a massage once. I will tell you that it was lovely. It really felt so very nice. BUT I will also tell you that I will never have another. I'm just not a person who likes to be touched by strangers. No pedicures. No manicures. The Georgia Satellites said it best: 'Don't give me no lines and keep your hands to yourself.'

  16. I LOVE messages. I used to have a membership and got one a month. I would try and schedule it around my Chiropractor visit as that seemed to provide the best results. I've had both male and female therapist for the massages, and never felt funny about it. It got to be pretty expensive so I stopped my membership. Always enjoy the meme's.
