 Thoughts of the day

  • Is anyone excited about the Super Bowl matchup? I am not and might not even watch.
  • Can you think of any reason why someone would want COVID19 as their vanity plate? I am baffled and haven't come up with a good one yet. Any thoughts?
  • For some reason, I have a hard time getting mad at Lucy when she sits on the dining room table.

  • What are you going to do with your extra day in February?

Thanks for stopping by and I will talk to you soon.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  1. I don’t think I’ve ever watched a Super Bowl besides the halftime show. I’m guessing the Covid guy is a conspiracy theorist who likes to get in arguments. Who could get mad at that face? I’ll be on a beach in Florida on my extra day!

  3. I lost interest in football years ago. Hockey and tennis is mostly on in our house and in my office, an occasional baseball game.

  4. I watch only one game sports game of year (disregarding the Olympics) and that is the Superbowl. I mostly watch it for the commercials and half time show but this year, I'll probably pay some attention to the game since one of the teams is our "local" team.

    Covid19 guy lost a bet.

Since Feb 29 is a Thursday and school is in session, nothing special. But I will be sending a friend a very special 13th birthday greeting since her birthday only comes around every 4 years.

    1. It was a pretty boring game for a long time so you didn't need to pay much attention, Kathy.

  9. Lucy on the table is funny. She bypasses chair and goes for the full monty. Love it.
Sports ball doesn't much interest me, but party house across the way was filled with Niners fans last weekend. We heard shouts of joy and even the odd firework after the game was over. -heard from my bro it was an exciting game. I'm sure many people around these parts will be glued to their screens come Super Bowl Sunday.

  10. That picture of the dog on the table is great. The last meme is my new life it seems, eating ibuprofen like Pez. The covid plate floors me. WTH? Is that a trumpster?

  11. Not excited at all about the Superbowl and I may not watch. Twinsies! Are all of those medications? I am hopeless at figuring them out. (I've only read "Lord of the Rings" and found it a slog)

I watch the Super Bowl with the volume off. I’m there for the hunky men in tight pants.
    And you know what’s funny?
I just completed the Tolkien/antidepressants game with a med student! Lmaooo

  14. Tony's been a 49er fan since he lived in Cali in his younger days. He and his son trade off by going to each other's house to watch. This year it's at his house so Faith and I usually watch the puppy bowl :) The Ibuprofen meme is the best!

  15. I laughed hard at most of these memes, Tolkien especially. (Might have stolen a few.)
Speaking of memes... a cute one... "My idea of a Super Bowl is a toilet that cleans itself."
No, we won't be watching. Ron checks in on games (in a fantasy league with some family) but we're in Eagles country over here and that's not been too exciting for a while.
