6/7/23

I was reminded once again that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
Kyle was less than enthusiastic when I asked him if I could share his poem on my blog yesterday.
We started negotiating about my access to his poem and we landed on him getting screen time earlier in the day if he let me post it.
So he gave me the poem book and I was pleased with how things turned out.
A few hours later, I am working on that blog post and turn to page 87 to transcribe Kyle's poem.
And this is what I saw:

Kyle ripped out the page.
He got me real good.
I thought I had presented a compelling arguement for him to share his poem and then I got that.
I did laugh a lot when I saw what he did because I found it funny and I was getting a taste of my own medicine as I know I did something similar to my parents when I was his age.
After I called him a turd, he sent me the page with the poem.
But I know he did it with a big old grin on his face.
I am raising him right.

Thanks for stopping by and I will talk to you tomorrow.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

    1. He had another copy of the book so I think that is a big reason why he wasn't worried about ripping out the page.
