Did you have a Sunday Funday?
Mine wasn't too shabby.
Mine wasn't too shabby.
- Woke up at 10 am. Not sure why but I was lacking the motivation to rise and shine. I didn't go to bed late either. I guess I just wanted to sleep.
- Fetch with the doggos round 1.
- Gym time.
- Fetch with the doggos round 2.
- Movie time. Kyle and I saw "Sisu" while Hayden and Mrs. Shife saw "Super Mario." Everyone was happy with their movie experience.
- Fetch with the doggos round 3.
- Played some catch with Hayden.
- Barbecued chicken.
- Fetch with the doggos round 4.
- Played some more catch with Hayden.
- Grocery store run.
- Fetch with the doggos round 5.
- Blog update.
- Watch "Succession" and "Barry".
- Get my mind right for Monday.
- Nighty night time.
Did you have a Sunday Funday?
Thanks for saying hello and I might talk to you tomorrow.
I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.
No, I work every Sunday, I have a funday Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday most weeks.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those fundays, Dave.
DeleteToday I read blogs, finished an art assignment, cleaned some pots and pans, and checked my income tax assessment record from the Canada Revenue Agency. Shortly I will watch the Edmonton Oilers play the Vegas Golden Knights on TV.
ReplyDeleteI see that you corrected yourself, Debra.
DeleteI took one doggo for a walk, mopped the kitchen floor, and made dinner. Not much of a fun day Sunday.
ReplyDeleteYou need to throw some fun in there, kden.
DeleteOoops, I meant the Seattle Kraken versus Dallas Stars. Not that you'd care, unless you're a hockey fan yourself. Are you?
ReplyDeleteI do care. I am a hockey guy but my team (STL Blues) didn't make the cut so I am rooting for the Oilers. It's been a long time since they hoisted the Cup.
DeleteWoo hoo! Go Oilers!
DeleteI had a Murphy's Law Sunday and I am going to bed to dream it all away!!
ReplyDeleteDid it work, Bob?
DeleteSisu? That's a new one..I'm still either wide away for 18 yours or asleep for 18 hours.
ReplyDeleteYep, it just came out last week. It is from the people that made John Wick. Not too shabby.
DeleteYour throwing arm must be well developed with all the fetch and catch in your life!
ReplyDeleteWe have a Chuck It stick, Ed. My arm can't compete with Ms. Frizzle's legs so we have to bring a device.
DeleteWork day... up at 5:30 AM and final edit of sermon. Preached at one church at 9 AM, drove 11 miles to the other church for a 10:30 AM service. Lunch afterwards at a Mexican restaurant, then took the doggies out before a nap. Took them on a 3/4 mile walk afterwards, then I took a 3 mile walk. Got back at dark and wasn't really hungry so had a small bowl of ice cream, watched the news (recorded) and read a bit before bed...
ReplyDeleteQuite the day, Jeff. Ending it with a bowl of ice cream sounds perfect. What flavor?
DeleteI did have a Sunday Funday, not quite as full as yours, it tired me out reading all that you managed to fit into a single day my Friend ... smiles.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Bohemian. Glad you had a funday.
DeleteWe babysat our grandkids for 4.5 hours. It was exhausting.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't fun but it wasn't too bad. I don't have a dog to play fetch with so I watched multiple episodes of Star Trek instead.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of doggo fetch! I'm happy to have cats who sleep most of the time because I am not a high-energy person. Sunday was not a great day for me; I usually take my mom (with dementia) for groceries and she was being contrary. I tried to put it aside and salvage the rest of the day. It casts a long shadow, though. Even when I'm not around her, I'm thinking about how to handle the issues in a way she will accept. No luck yet :) I would like to have the days back when my kids were the age of yours. It was stressful but rewarding.
