Oh heck.
Let's see how long I can keep this going.

This should be interesting.
I am going with the Good & Plenty but the Sweetarts wouldn't be far behind.
Not that you asked but my favorite would be the Twizzlers.
I have been enjoying licorice lately.
And, in a possible unpopular opinion, I am preferring Twizzlers over Red Vines these days.
What about you?
And what are the odds I can keep this up for another few weeks?
We will take it day-by-day and see what happens, which is kind of my philosophy on life.
Take care, happy May and I might talk to you tomorrow.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  1. I have to agree. I’ve hated Good & Plenty forever. My top pick is the Reese’s. I actually hate licorice in any shape or form.

    1. I will pretend that you didn't say that, Bijoux.

  2. Good & Plenty is definitely the worst. My favorite, chocolate category, Mounds. Non-chocolate category, Starburst or Skittles toss -up.

    1. Mounds is not too shabby, Deedles. But I have to be in the right mood for it.

  3. I've been craving M&Ms lately and this post is not helping my willpower to resist them.

  4. In a pinch I would eat any of them, but Good and Plenty (or anything else with black licorice) would be at the bottom of the list. Anything chocolate would be at the top.

    1. I think I could do black jelly beans but not a fan of black licorice.

  5. I hate to admit I've had most of those candies, one time or another. Thumbs down on Skittles, thumbs up on Reeses. You don't even have a pack of Twizzlers in the picture. I like red a lot and licorice are more than OK.

    1. They are in there, Joanne. On the left below the Good & Plenty.

  6. I like Good and Plenty. Mike and Ike are my number one unfavorite. Swedish Fish would be number two on that self same list.

    1. Don't Swedish Fish get stuck in your teeth?

    2. Which is exactly why I hate 'em.

  7. I've never had Good & Plenty but they don't look very good to me. Sad to say, I also don't like Twizzlers or anything like them. If you are a licorice fan, have you ever had Dutch licorice that has salt in it? Definitely an acquired taste, but those who like it seem to love it. My favourites here are Reese's pb cups and Kit Kat, but I wouldn't say no to just about anything in the group (except Twizzlers, sorry, lol)

I think the chances that you can keep blogging for another few weeks are 99.9%. (Heavily influenced by my wish that you do so, but no pressure - ha ha)

    1. I am a big fan of Kit Kats, jenny_o. And I just read about how popular licorice is in the Netherlands.

  9. Twizzlers are NOT licorice. Let me get that off my chest first. LOL For me: Twizzlers, Sweetarts, Skittles, Mike and Ikes, Twix, and Three Musketeers. I can tolerate Starburst but only in certain flavors; the others are too perfumey. My favorites (not that anyone cares!): Mounds, Kit Kat, Rolos and Butterfinger.

    1. Yes, you are correct, Margaret. Kit Kats are amazing.

  10. I'm a simple man. Give me a Snicker, Hershey, M&M, KitKat or Crunch and I'm happy. All the rest can go in the trash with equal speed! But if I had to pick the absolute worst that I've actually attempted to eat, most of those I haven't, Milk Duds would be my vote.

  11. I may be in the minority here, but I don't even eat candy anymore.

  12. I have to go with the Mike and Ikes and Sweetarts! Other than those two I'm always up for the other ones!

  13. I don't see a bad choice in the bunch. I'll gladly take the SweetTarts if you don't want them.

  14. I love black licorice so anything with that is good in my book. I like candy but have had to switch over to sugar free candy since my diabetes diagnoses. Russel Stover makes some great sugar free candy. I do not like Twizzlers. I love red vines though.

  15. Sorry to offend, but being Britsh I just can't take to the taste of US chocolate.
