Is today the day?
Since that graphic was shared on March 25, we still haven't made it above 60 degrees.
It's now been 158 days.
But that could all end today.
The high is predicted to be 61 degrees in our area so it might be time to break out the shorts and the sunscreen.
They say records are meant to be broken but I don't think this is one most people wanted to break.
Better late than never and, if the weatherman is correct, we are in for a treat for the next two days as the highs are supposed to be in the 70s.
So does this mean spring is finally here?
Talk to you tomorrow.
I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.
We're finally having beautiful Spring weather here this weekend too! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou too, Debra.
DeleteThank you for taking the cold from those of us here in the Midwest who had another mild winter. We surely do appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteYou are so welcome, Ed.
DeleteYay for spring! Those temperatures are ideal.
ReplyDeleteYay! But it is heading back to the 50s for the next few days.
DeleteIt's 80 today after a cold week.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds nice, Mary.
DeleteWe've had a mild winter, except for around Christmas which was way below average... But now, at Easter, we're back below freezing.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a frustrating spring so far.
DeleteWe are also supposed to see 70 this week. I’m sorry for you because we have had a milder winter here and actually have had a couple of 60 degree days recently. But the lack of snow has been the best part!
ReplyDeleteA mild summer will be amazing but I doubt it, Bijoux.
Delete40 one day, 70 the next. Make it stop!
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
DeleteJees, Mr. S, you don't want to be saying stuff like that out loud!!! Mother Nature loves nothing more than a practical joke. Supposed to be hitting the 70s and 80s here next week. Notice I'm not saying the s word.
ReplyDeleteI guess I did it because we might get some of the s word tonight, Debby.
DeleteWe;ve had one day past 60. Nananananana
ReplyDeleteNananananana right back at you.
DeleteI just put my car top up for the first time since October 1st. The rainy season is coming and the sun is getting strong. It has been a warm and very dry winter. Average temps, 85f.
ReplyDeletejimmy
Just a little bit jealous, Jimmy.
DeleteIt has been sunny here for a few days but the wind is eye-wateringly cold. I hope you get your higher temps soon.
ReplyDeleteThank you, jenny_o.
