Tucker and Dale are not lying.
It is going to be busy around her for the Shifleys over the next few days.
It is going to be busy around her for the Shifleys over the next few days.
Who am I kidding, this is pretty much going to be our schedule for the next month.
I really picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
Today

- Hayden track meet and softball practice
Tuesday

Wednesday

I think coordinating our schedules might be more difficult than time travel or human cloning.
Wish us luck, hope your Monday is going well and I will talk to you tomorrow.
I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.
A busy schedule, but for some reason I'm still as busy as when I had a son playing baseball or a daughter tennis... now they're both older and my son has his own kids to get to practices.
ReplyDeleteIs busy good, Jeff?
DeleteA similar looking schedule though throw in a couple meetings for us adults and a spring music concert as well. I'm been waking up a 4 am unable to sleep for awhile now and haven't really enjoyed that fact. But these last couple weeks, it has been quite enjoyable to have three hours before the kids need to get woken up to do as I please. Other than sleeping, that is my free time these days.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your free time, Ed.
DeleteHaving active kids is time-consuming and tiring but WHAT a gift! We want our children to be involved in things and it's very healthy for them. But their pursuits do become our schedules! My older daughter was a high level dancer and artist while the younger was a club gymnast and musician. Lots of concerts, art shows, practices, recitals and meets. Expensive, but well worth it.
ReplyDeleteSince I am in the middle of it, it's hard to see the big picture but I agree with what you are saying, Margaret.
DeleteTime travel and cloning both sound like viable solutions to me!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debra.
DeleteKids and sports make for busy days! I kind of miss those days but not the stress of trying to be everywhere and work too! Good luck and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanette
DeleteThis is why I am glad my kids are grown.
ReplyDeleteI can see that, Bathwater
DeleteI sounds like you need to switch from glue to THC so you can chill out maaaaaannnnnn.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could but Idaho is still in the dark ages about THC, Mike.
DeleteThank you for mentioning Tucker and Dale. I had never heard of them until this morning when I read your post and I can say thanks to Amazon Prime, they were the highlight of my afternoon.
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it, Ed. Another common trait between us.
DeleteI remember those days! Good luck.
ReplyDeleteTY KG
DeleteWhoa
ReplyDeleteThat's a LOT of coordination. Parents really need to literally get a planner to be able to do all this stuff! And it's 'only' two kids! I cannot imagine having four or five!
I'm sure you'll manage. Good luck to the kids!!
XOXO
TY SP
DeleteFunny story……I very rarely went to my oldest daughter’s softball practices or games. My husband did that, while I ran the other two kids around town, made dinner, and helped with homework. Years later, I found out people thought we had divorcedš¤£
ReplyDeleteFunny indeed, Bijoux.
DeleteI kinda like Debra's cloning and time travel suggestion.
ReplyDeleteFailing that, one parent at each event might suffice and you will have that ONE DAY to rest!
It might be the only way, Bob.
DeleteDivide and conquer my friend!
ReplyDeleteAs Mando would say, "This is the way!"
Deletelooks like my schedule with the gg/s...
