Who wore it better?

"Talk to me Goose"

"Talk to me Luce"

Another design masterpiece from yours truly.
It has been a long time since I have shown off my skills so you are very welcome.
As a matter of fact, it was about 4 years ago when I shared this beauty with my wonderful blogging friends:

This and a super-sized meme dump are all I have to share this week.
It has been really busy here with work, extracurricular activities, puppy madness, waxing my unmentionables, and adjusting to temperatures in the 30s.

Meme dump

Happy Halloween.
Hope all is well in your corner of the world and I will talk to you soon.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  1. Frizz and Ted’s Excellent Adventure! I missed that the first time, but you did a nice job. German words are fabulous and made even better by the gutteral sounds of native speakers. In what cities is that happy meal offered? I need a vacation.

    1. Not sure, Bijoux, but I think a road trip might be worth it

  2. Nor have I (known the wattage of any microwave). Though making HBO impose a standard volume rating misses a tie for first by a whisker!

    1. It would make me much happier if they could all agree on a standard volume table

  3. Just the kind of silliness I needed! I'm feeling some grief bacon lately although in my case it should be Eis (ice cream) and not bacon. 30 degrees, oh, my! We're still 15 degrees away.

  5. Those are great; especially the fixed ones :) Yes it was hard to see a big dip in the temps. I went from shorts to long pants and a jacket overnight...boo.

    1. Yep. The shorts have been retired for season.

OMG I have NEVER known the wattage of anything. How have I not blown up the kitchen? I have no idea. Also, is that Cerveza Modelo in a Hawaiian Punch pouch? With a Happy Meal ??????

    XOXO

  9. Perhaps living in rural America or maybe just living a sheltered life, I didn't know there was such a think in men's grooming. So I opened up an incognito window so my search wouldn't forever taint my online life with adds, typed in a search selection and partially covering my eyes with one hand, selected the first link that popped up. I must say, it was very amusing and something I'm sure you might appreciate if you haven't read it already.

    1. It has definitely ramped up since I was a young man. I only waxed once a long time ago on my chest and that was enough for me. Truly felt like my chest was getting ripped open. Thanks for the link, Ed.

  10. I recall once looking all over my microwave trying to find the actual wattage! Never did find it! Love the memes!

  11. ??? Wattage is the first thing I check when buying a microwave. As a youngster growing up in the heart of PA Dutch country, with very Dutchie grandparents, I can attest to the fact that we ate quite a lot of speck. Just make sure you get the pronunciation correct. In English it's shpeck and Bisht du ein shpeckkauf translates to Are you a bacon head?

  12. Grief bacon, that should be in the English lexicon and will be the death of many of us.
