Day 21 of my September challenge

Today is September 21, but the big question is...

Well, do you?
I do thanks to Demi Adejuyigbe.
Every year since 2016, the comedian and screenwriter a.k.a the "September Guy" has made videos of himself dancing to the Earth, Wind and Fire song "September"
If you get a chance, check out a few of them as they are pretty epic.

Tomorrow is September 22 and, according to my calendar, the first day of fall.

Are you excited about the start of fall?

Finally, on the day after tomorrow, which is September 23 plus 120 days, it will be international sweatpants day. I bring this up because it is getting colder out there and I will be breaking out the sweatpants soon. I shouldn't be that excited about transitioning to sweatpants.

Talk to you tomorrow.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  1. I used to look forward to fall. Today is 96 - not fall like. I long to wear a hoodie and sweatpants. :-)

  6. I love that song! It makes me want to dance every time I hear it. Lucky for the rest of the world, I don't hear it very frequently.

  7. Well, I had to find that song. Then I had to look up the year. 1978. I was 21. You probably weren't even born yet. Thanks, Mr. Shife. You've made my day. Really.

  8. I am not at all excited about fall because we are scheduled to hold a party for Hurricane Fiona this weekend with all the rain and wind you could ever want. Not liking this at all. Enjoy your sweatpants! I haven't worn those for decades, but I do wear yoga or jersey pants and they're comfortable without all the unnecessary accompanying high bodily temperatures.

    1. I decided yoga pants are not a good look for me, jenny_o. Hope the forecast is wrong and Fiona misses you guys.

  9. Believe it or not, I read this blog post 30 minutes ago and then got lost on YouTube checking out the other September 21 videos. If I draw a line between his first video and the one you posted above, the next one is going to be not just off the charts but out of this world. Can't wait.

  10. When I get tired of being hot I always try to remember how much more tired I get of being cold! Although I am looking forward to sleeping covered with a heavy quilt again, I always prefer warm weather to cold! Plus the shorter days are bad for my mood! Have a good day!

  13. I love fall, it is my favorite season. I must say that I love sweatpants….and the oversized red checkered flannel shirt for those chilly days. They aren’t far away in my neck of the woods.

  15. I don't like clothing that makes me look fluffier than I already am. We hit a record yesterday of 90, cooler weather will feel nice.
