Day 20 of my September challenge

Do you watch YouTube?
If so, do you have a favorite channel?
Or a favorite video subject that you search for?

My account currently has 57 subscriptions and two of them are mine.
Kyle and Hayden have a lot of favorites like Mr. Beast, SSundee, PopularMMOs, LoverFella, etc.
Some of those names might be familiar to a few parents out there.
I am subscribed to MLW Wiffle Ball and Como Blitz Ball.

They are both Wiffle ball channels.
Yes, I am a Wiffle ball weirdo.
My brother and I grew up playing Wiffle ball, then I played a lot during the summer when I was in college and then when my brother lived with me for a few summers we would play ball.
There are a lot of fond memories when I am watching the Wiffle ball channels.
Also, a lot of phantom shoulder pain because there were days when my arm was hanging so low because it ached and ached from trying to throw a super curve that would bend from east to west just to try and catch the lawn chair by the tiniest of inches for a strike #3 and immortality.
I could never let the little brother beat me.
Good times but the shoulder is grateful I have retired the yellow bat and the light perforated ball.

Talk to you tomorrow.

I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.

  1. I do not watch you-tube videos regularly. I don't need one more thing to keep me on the computer.

  2. I use YouTube a lot for informational videos like how to change the clock on my Subaru. I also watch the Great Canadian Baking Show on it sometimes.

  4. I'm up to 97 subscriptions... so I guess yeah, I watch YouTube. Most of mine are about woodworking in some form of the other from building furniture to houses and boats. I don't keep up with all of them and skip over quite a few anymore. I really need to spend some time thinning down the list but it seems like more effort than just skipping them when they pop up with a new video.

  7. I watch a few true crime videos (I'm a true crime addict) and a few video poker channels. Also lately I've been watching a few metal detecting channels. I maybe have 5 subscriptions.

  8. I watch Youtube at times. One of my favorite channels is Life In Jars. He I think is in the Netherlands and gets sand, water and plants from rivers, lakes ect and puts it all in jars to see what kinds of insects will start growing from the samples he collected. I find it fascinating.

  9. If I can't save a video from FB or twitter, I can always find it on YouTube.

  10. I do not subscribe to much. 2 diy channels. My husband has quite a few - he watches wood porn. :-) Guys who make things from wood as he does. Can you imagine anything more boring than watching a guy put a block of wood on a lathe and make a bowl? Yeah I don't get it.

  12. I second Sixpence - Beau is very good. I'm subscribed to 130 channels but that's just so I can find them if I want to. I typically watch about four or five on a daily basis. YouTube Shorts are truly addictive, though. Don't start on those! I guess a "wiffle ball weirdo" already knows about that, though. lol

  13. P. S. You might enjoy Jonny Devaney's channel. He enacts how different dog breeds would do different things and he's pretty accurate and very funny. He even imitates bassets on there sometimes. Try the "How Dog Breeds React to Robbers" to get started: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gwz1mo99MRQ
