Day 13 of my September challenge.
Am I in trouble with my wonderful blogging friends if I don't talk about the puppy?
I figured you might want a break so it's time for another question.
Do you listen to podcasts?
I figured you might want a break so it's time for another question.
Do you listen to podcasts?
If so, what are some of your favorites?
I love podcasts and listen to them about 10-12 hours a week.
So here are my favorites in no particular order:
- Pop Culture Happy Hour
- Axios Today
- The Letterboxd Show
- The Rewatchables
- Sports Illustrated Weekly
- Smartless
- The Always Sunny Podcast
- Never Not Funny
- Unspooled
- The Ringerverse
- Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend
- How Did This Get Made?
- The Watch
- The Brilliant Idiots
And here's a picture of Lucy the Basset in case that is the only reason you are visiting me now.
Talk to you tomorrow.
I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.
Just started the podcast thing. Marc Maron's WTF. Smartless with Jason bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes.
ReplyDeleteGood choices, Peg.
DeleteYes, I listen to podcasts on my daily walks, so about one hour per day. Mine are reality show based or health/nutrition. I used to listen to unsolved mysteries but it got old.
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of my listening while I am walking Ms. Frizzle, Bijoux.
DeleteI haven't gotten into podcasts but I guess I should???
ReplyDeleteAre you asking because Lucy's doing a podcast now???
Maybe, Bob.
DeleteI don't listen to any although many have been recommended to me. I'm not an auditory person and am easily distracted, so it's nearly impossible for me to listen to anything or anyone for long periods of time.
ReplyDeleteThen you definitely would not enjoy them, Margaret.
DeleteNope. Bring on the puppy!
ReplyDeleteDuly noted, Deedles.
DeleteNever listened to podcasts; I don't know why. I'll take a listen to a couple of yours.
ReplyDeleteGood luck, Joanne. Hope you find one you like.
DeleteI rarely listen to podcasts, just enough to know I don't want to do it more :) I'll read just about anything if the writing is decipherable, but listening gets on my last nerve, for some strange reason. I'm glad there's a variety of ways for people to get their information and entertainment because everybody has their preference.
ReplyDeleteLucy is the name of our bitey cat! I'm terrible at naming anything and I went through a long, involved process that ended with naming her after Lucy Maude Montgomery (who wrote Anne of Green Gables), only to have our son say, "Is Lucy short for Lucifer?" because she had taken a particular dislike to him, for some reason, and he was hurt because he's very much a cat person. Let's hope your Lucy is not short for Lucifer and that she is as sweet in nature as she is in appearance :)
Thanks, jenny_o, but Kyle and Hayden already made the conclusion that if Lucy the basset is being naughty she will be known as Lucy-fur.
DeleteLucy Fur....that is hilarious. I love your family. My own family runs short on imagination. Misbehaved animals were always called the same thing. Little Shit.
DeleteThat is awesome! Your kids clearly have your sense of humour :)
DeleteI do, especially when road tripping. Instead of always searching for a decent channel, I just hook my phone up to the radio and listen to podcasts. Makes the miles go by faster.
ReplyDeleteThey do help pass the time, Ed.
DeleteI have listened to podcasts, but not regularly. I prefer to listen to books when driving or doing repetitive things that allow me to listen.
ReplyDeleteYou are my go-to-guy for books, Jeff.
DeleteTried the podcast thing and failed. I suppose there's too much chatter already going on in my head.
ReplyDeleteMakes sense, Dave R.
DeleteI've just never gotten into the podcast thing; so I came here for Lucy!
ReplyDeletepodcasts?...I can't even begin to tell you how boring podcasts are to me.
