Having pie for breakfast.
There could be worse ways to start your day.
Like having a 1,500-pound bull land in your lap.

And it was apple pie in case you were wondering.
I am not sure what kind of fruit I would have dropped in my looms if this happened to me.
- Happy 24th of February. Is anyone celebrating something today? I am supposed to check my junk. Woo-hoo. I thought about painting testicles on my face but that seems a bit much. I believe I learned in junior high to check your package on your birthday date every month. I have been told by my therapist that I might overshare.
- The 24th is also a reminder that it is about 3 weeks to Mrs. Shife's birthday and 5 weeks to Kyle's birthday. And two months to my birthday. Hayden and Frizzle celebrate later in the year.
- I changed my calendar color from red to blue because I got tired of seeing red - literally and figuratively - when I looked at my work calendar. I feel so much calmer looking at it.
I will try and do better tomorrow.
I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.
That's the kind of thing that happens when you cheer a fellow in tight pants as he taunts a bull and pokes him with sharp pointy things. My sympathy are not with the folks in the stands.
ReplyDeleteMine either, Debby. I am not too sad when I see the bull get some revenge.
Deletethat meme - ew.
ReplyDeleteand yeah, blue is a better color than red (red = deplorables).
do you need help checking your package (asking for a friend)?
Package check went well, anne marie in philly. Thanks for asking.
DeleteBlue is a much calmer color for a calendar. Pie is excellent for breakfast! Fruit is healthy. I hope the rest of your week is good and includes more pie.
ReplyDeleteI had more today, Bonnie, and the outlook is looking good for tomorrow.
DeleteI thought we were supposed to check everyday!
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't hurt, right?
DeleteOh that meme!
ReplyDeleteOh that bull!!
Oh yeah!
DeleteToday was my husband's birthday. I baked cupcakes for him, but I bet he would have appreciated a package check EVEN MORE!
ReplyDeleteI snorted about the colon.
Kind of sounds like an activity, doesn't it?
"What are we doing this afternoon?"
"I don't know about you, but I thought I might snort about the colon, then go out for a drink later."
Happy birthday to the hubby, Ami!
DeleteApple pie, package-checking, bull stomping- what a glorious hodge podge of an early morning read! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI do my best to make you guys happy, balanced.
DeleteOh that meme....checking packages on your birthday date each month...does just touching them, or reaching in to shift them count?
ReplyDeleteI am not a medical professional, JM, but I think you do whatever works best for you.
DeletePie is most definitely a breakfast food in our household. It is different than dessert because it doesn't have a scoop of ice cream on it.
ReplyDeleteI'm with Debby, I like cheering when nature fights back.
Yes, with ice cream then it crosses over. Good point, Ed.
DeleteI have eliminated using colons or getting my colon checked :)
ReplyDeleteYou might be living the dream, Bathwater.
DeletePoor bull!
ReplyDeleteI am not sure how things ended up for him but I am sure it wasn't a happy ending.
DeleteApples are fruit. Check.
ReplyDeleteYep. Just doing what the doctor said and eating more fruit.
DeleteYes, blue looks much better and especially in the White House.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, kden.
DeleteThe really good news is, Feb's near over.
ReplyDeleteGood for the bull! I'm not a fan of most pies, but I have been eating Girl Scout cookies in the morning. The fact that they have peanut butter in them makes me feel virtuous.
ReplyDeleteholyshit...a bull in your lap...no way............
