When life gives you lemons from your sister-in-law from California, you go...
Kyle and Hayden held up the normal-sized lemons to the lemonstrosities that were sent to us from the very fertile lands of the Golden State.
- Kyle had two best buddies from his preschool days but once kindergarten started, they went their separate ways. He ran into them again yesterday at his junior high orientation and he said he had no idea who they were.
- Is there a chore that you absolutely detest but it doesn't take that long to do? And you only have to do it maybe once a week or two? I hate taking the time to cut my fingernails even though it took me a whopping 67 seconds to trim them today.
- My favorite memes of the week:
I will try and do better tomorrow.
I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.
Wow! The size of those lemons!!!
ReplyDeletexoxo :-)
Huge!
DeleteMy ex-husband's father used to send us artichokes from california. Those things were huge too. Which makes you wonder why they don't promote this as a tourist attraction: 'California: land of freakishly large produce!'
ReplyDeleteIt would make me want to visit more.
Deletelemons? they look as large as grapefruits!
ReplyDeleteYep.
DeleteAnytime I remove or install a toilet, I just want a hot shower afterwards.
ReplyDeleteMakes sense, Ed.
DeleteThat's some mighty lemonade in the offing!
ReplyDeleteThat is one of the plans, Bob.
DeleteI dislike nail trimming, too. Must time it next time.
ReplyDeleteWe are living some exciting lives, Joanne.
DeleteThose lemons are beautiful! (are you sure they are not grapefruits?) You can make a lot of lemonade with those, or lemon pie or lemon bars, or lots of goodies. Enjoy them!
ReplyDeleteKyle has lots of ideas on what we can do with those lemons.
DeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment and I hope you keep visiting my blog. To make reading easier, you have a translator at the top right of the blog. I would like to recommend the urban fantasy book The Last Magicien by Lisa Maxwell to your son. It is actually a trilogy. For more information, I invite you to visit my other blog, where you will find a review about it.

Thanks for the recommendation, Maria.
DeleteI hate dealing with my fingernails lately, they have been cracking. I need to improve my diet I guess.
ReplyDeleteGood luck, bathwater.
DeleteAh, to have a lemon tree! Those memes were GREAT!
ReplyDeleteIt would be nice, Peg.
DeleteHahaha the memes!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd those lemons look fantastic. Like, literally.
About Kyle not recognizing his friends, it's happened to me. I had some very close friends when I was in like, sixth grade and stopped seeing them for more than a decade. Somebody had to reintroduce them to me a few years back because I had no idea who they were. At all.
XOXO
I will pass along the info about friends to Kyle, Sixpence. He wasn't overly concerned about it anyway. I think I was the one having the biggest issue with it. Probably because I liked the parents.
DeleteThose are very clever memes. Those lemons are amazing. Just another reason to love California! Lol on the fingernail clippings, but yeah, I think dusting is the worst chore even though it’s the least strenuous.
ReplyDeleteWe just need to figure out what to do with the lemons. Kyle has thoughts.
DeleteThose lemons are crazy! I hate to dust. It's not that big a deal but I procrastinate on it.
ReplyDeleteWe outsourced that chore to the kids.
DeleteHoly Guacamole those are some big lemons! Love the memes. The last one is totally my kind of stupid humor lol.
ReplyDeleteGlad you enjoyed them, Martha.
Deletedang....dem's some bigass lemons.
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed.
DeleteGreat memes! I would love to have some fresh citrus fruit right off of a tree sometime. Apples, plums, and pears are nice but a big fresh lemon, wow!
