Winter finally showed up.
We got about 10 inches of snow over the weekend.
Fortunately, it is not going to get too cold this week so most of it will be gone in a few days.
But Kyle, Hayden and Ms. Frizzle are enjoying it while it is here.
And if your definition of enjoyment includes shoveling snow, then I am loving it as well.
I will try and do better tomorrow.
I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.
I love the snow, but never the shoveling of it!
ReplyDeleteI barely like the stuff.
DeleteMS. FRIZZLE IS HAVING A GREAT TIME!
ReplyDeleteShe certainly did.
DeleteWe got about a foot of snow 11 days ago in a blizzard that got packed down on the streets into a sheet of ice and then we haven't been within 10 degrees of above freezing since. (By my thermometer we were 42 degrees below freezing this morning.) By the time we see some above freezing weather it may be 5 days from now. I will kiss the pavement the next time I see it again.
ReplyDeleteI am not jealous of that, Ed. Good luck.
DeleteLots of snow here. I-90 over the Pass
ReplyDeleteis completely shut down and they
are worried about avalanches!!
You all enjoy your snow. xoxo :-)
I am glad the kids and MF are enjoying it.
DeleteKids and snow go together. And Mrs. Frizzle.
ReplyDeleteYes, they do.
DeleteIt’s headed our way right now and it’s not looking good. My husband has to go to work tomorrow, so he’s out there with the snowblower right now, hoping to be proactive. I think it’s wishful thinking.
ReplyDeleteStay safe!
DeleteOMG the doggie!
ReplyDeleteThe kids should be having a blast. We got snow galore and the temperature went all the way down to 0. Without wind chill, so you can imagine.
Blankets galore!
XOXO
Yikes! Stay warm, Sixpence.
DeleteI may be a crazy one, but I enjoy shoveling snow! Just stay hydrated and don't over do it--it's a great workout.
ReplyDeleteMy problem is that I overdo it, Jeff.
DeleteVery festive. I'd be into making a snow person, but not the shoveling bit.
ReplyDeleteSnow forts and giant snow balls were made, Bea.
DeleteThat is fun for the kids and Ms. Frizzle too of course! I love all of your pictures. It looks like you have enough to build a good snowman! We have had snow for a couple of weeks now and we keep getting a little more on top of the old. That's okay but these cold temps are bad. We will be -15 tonight!
ReplyDeleteBe careful shoveling!
Wow. That is cold, Bonnie.
DeleteAnd shoveling the snow is one of the top reasons my wife and I left New England for the warmer south, though lately I don't know...
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the snow found you this year.
DeleteThat's the best kind of snow! Ours stayed around two days and that was plenty for me. I've never owned a snow shovel and used a regular one to clear a spot for my garbage can and recycler. I've also used a garden rake in the past. :)
ReplyDeleteUnless we get a lot more, it will be gone by Thursday as it warmed up quite a bit.
DeleteIt's been three years since we saw even the slightest flurries here. Maybe people will make fun of Florida, but it's only going to be down into the 30's tonight
ReplyDeleteWe are not cold so that is one positive, Jon.
DeleteWe have Buddy Benches here as well. I love the idea. I hate snow though.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of snow either, Debby.
Deleteit's warming up here...the manager nor maintenance dude haven't shoveled the sidewalks..so when the ice starts to thaw I'll get out and shovel my sidewalk, a way to my car and to the mail boxes and office where I will punch that asshole in the throat.
ReplyDeleteSounds like he deserve it, Jackiesue.
