Kyle has caught the entrepreneurial bug.
He wants to purchase some new Lego sets so he is doing what he can to help meet that goal.
One of those enterprises is making bookmarks.
Here are a few that he created recently:
Harry Potter, Dumbledore and Ms. Frizzle
He is open to requests as I asked him to make me a Bill Murray one and this is how it turned out.
Are you interested in one? If so, let me know.
His rate is $5/bookmark and we will laminate it for you so it lasts a long time.
Thank You
I put a link in my blog update last week to my book on Amazon and I just want to thank all of you who purchased it.
It was completely unexpected and totally appreciated.
I hope you enjoyed it.
It's hard to believe it has almost been 7 years since it was published.
Streaming update
Dry-ish January has led me down some strange paths.
One of them is revisiting the Rambo movies.
"First Blood" is really, really good.
The rest of them are not.
I was trying to think of other movie franchises that started out well but all of the sequels were hot garbage.
The only one that came to mind was "The Hangover."
I really enjoyed the first one but the rest were more disappointing than an unsalted pretzel.
Feel the Bern
Do you have a favorite Bernie meme of GIF thanks to his fashion choice at Inauguration Day?
I liked this one a lot.
My Favorite Memes of the Week
Take care, thanks for stopping by and I will talk to you soon.
I'd like a cat book marker from kyle.
ReplyDeleteI put your book on my amazon wish list.
I like the bernie, churchill, FDR, and stalin at yalta picture.
Thank you, anne marie in philly. He mailed it today.
DeleteI think I’ve seen 100 of the Bernie memes. The Hamilton one is good as is the Muppet Show one. I’m sure I watched the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills one before it became a meme.
ReplyDeleteAs much garbage as I have watched on TV, I never watched any of the Real Housewives.
DeleteI'm impressed; a young entrepreneur!
ReplyDeleteHe also said he wants to start investing, Joanne.
DeleteDH is impressed by Kyle's marketing.
ReplyDeleteWill be sending $ your way for a Dumbledore
bookmark.
xoxo :-)
Thank you for your support, AK!
DeleteI would love a Ms Frizzle bookmark; I'll use it in my appointment book. I just sent you $ through PP. I have been loving all the Bernie memes, they're all so sweet.
ReplyDeleteKyle was super happy when he saw the photo you shared. Thanks again.
DeleteGood for Kyle! His bookmarks are great. I love Lego sets too.
ReplyDeleteYou found a great Bernie meme. I like the Game of Thrones one and the "Lunch Atop a Skyscraper".
Thank you, Bonnie.
DeleteOoooh, I'll take a Tuxedo one. You can find his gorgeous punum in the first photo here: https://ishouldbelaughing.blogspot.com/2011/03/tuxedo-caturday.html
ReplyDeleteWe have several memes of Bernie taken around our small town. He'd everywhere!
Kyle put your bookmark in the mail today, Bob.
DeleteRocky comes to mind but I think of it more at peaking with Mr T and going downhill after that.
ReplyDeleteLord of the Rings went downhill from the beginning in my book and the first one was a pretty low bar to start with.
The Die Hard series is another one that peaked at the top floor of the office building involved.
Matrix was definitely downhill after one.
Alien and Predator were definitely one and done.
The only one I felt that kind of redeemed itself after falling was the entire Star Wars franchise. The middle three (first three in chronological order) were kind of rough but I though the last three (last three in chronological order) kind of redeemed things somewhat.
This got me to thinking about any movie series that I felt kept up the quality and I enjoyed them all. Probably the closest that comes to mind is the Godfather series... and that's been awhile.
Good call on Godfather, Ed.
DeleteAdmiration for Kyle, knows how to go for it!
ReplyDeleteTruthfully, after 4 or 5 Bernie memes, I was over it.
Take care!
Thank you.
DeleteWow go Kyle!!! Also Ken doesn't have certain appendages necessary to close the deal right?
ReplyDeleteOr does he, JM?
DeleteThat's super cool!
ReplyDeleteBookmarks are fantastic. Especially for those who still prefer books rather than e-books. And the Bernie memes were totally and absolutely one of the best things last week. In a week of good news, that kind of symbolized a lighter, less fuckery-infested return to news.
XOXO
Bernie was another highlight in that week, Sixpence.
DeleteI'm getting tired of the Bernie memes.... and I have watched so few sequels of movies. The original Star Wars held up, but afterwards, down hill. Your son is a real businessman--and knows how to find the right marketer for his product.

Out of the 9 Star Wars movies, I think I really, really liked 4. The ones with Jar Jar were hot garbage. I think my favorite is Rogue One.
DeleteI’d love a Kyle book mark. One with bats. You will have to explain it horrifying detail how to send him the $ . I’m technically challenged. Oh, I’d love a silly rabbit too. The laughs are great, as always.
ReplyDeleteSend me an email at mshifley@gmail.com and we will take care of you, silly rabbit.
DeleteI watched all of the Home Alone sequels over Christmas and I thought no 3 was quite good, but number 4 sucked.
ReplyDeleteNumber 4 did look quite atrocious.
Deletesend me email with your address and I'll take 2 of the book marks for the gg's..can he do animals? any one will be cool...and I'm working my way back on my reading..so send me info on your book too..
ReplyDeleteI left my email in a comment on your blog, Jackiesue.
DeleteI'm braindead. Can't find the post you put info on. Email me yellowdoggranny@yahoo.com.
DeleteOh, haha...that Ken joke!
ReplyDeleteI know. It is awesome.
DeleteAnd just how does one get your address to send five dollars to your son so that he can make a orange cat book mark?
ReplyDeleteKyle has you in our order book, Debby.
DeleteI still enjoy the Bernie memes but they have to be very creative to tickle me at this point. At first, I laughed at every single one.
ReplyDeleteMe as well, Margaret. I think we have moved on to something else but I am not sure what it is yet because I am old.
