Vacation Mode

First things first, I am officially on vacation.
There's nowhere to go because the Earth is still closed but I don't have to go to work.
Technically, I haven't gone to work since March but let's not get technical because I am on vacation.
Now, blogging friends, I like you a lot.

or was it

But I will probably take the week off because I don't know if I told you but I am on vacation.
So that's it from yours truly.
Pretty exciting, huh.
Sorry.
It has been a long week trying to getting everything squared away at work before I start my vacation.
Did I mention anything about a vacation yet?
Mrs. Shife just gave my to-do list for the next 9 days:

Second things second is a sentence I never typed before but, hey, 2020.
Here are a few ideas we have while I am on vacation.
Yep, you heard that right, I will be taking some time off.
I swear I thought I mentioned that earlier.

We might do some more fishing.
I understand why the early bird gets the worm.
The mid-afternoon bird gets heat stroke and sweat stains.

We might hit the river because these guys really like it.
Look how happy they are and I wouldn't want them to be unhappy.

Third things third, here are a few fun images I found on my desktop as I was cleaning up my computer to get ready for my vacation.
By the way, I will be out next week. I don't know if I mentioned that.

Frizzle has never dropped a ball in our cup but I do believe she would if she was pissed enough.

Well, that's all folks.
I'll talk to you when I get back.
Thanks for stopping by and don't miss me too much.

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.

It is also my pleasure to play with water in the river. Greetings from Indonesia.

  17. Looks like a relaxing time with the family. Enjoy it. We are going back to a campsite on a beach that we hit a few weeks ago. It's good to get away from the damn house. We have all been cooped up too much. Got to enjoy that nature fun.

  18. A friend published a bunch of photos of his family backpacking trip into the Sawtooths today and I was envious (even though I just got back from the mountains of Virginia for the second time this summer). Enjoy your "staycation"
