T-Minus 9 Days

Today was one of those days that I wanted to watch movies, take a nap, eat ice cream out of a crockpot while I was day drinking.
A man can dream, right?
It would have probably made for a more interesting blog post than what I have currently going on.
Between working from home and keeping the kiddos on task, I don't feel that creative.
By the time I am ready to blog, I feel like the tank is empty.
But I've got nine days to go until the big day.

I can do this.
Nine
Nine lives
Starting lineup
Baseball
"Major League"
"A Night At The Roxbury"
Did you grab my butt? (it's actually ass. I remembered it wrong)
Chris Kattan
Blazing Saddles
Chili today, hot tamale
Candy
Halloween
Michael Myers

And that's time.
I wanted to see where my mind would go if I started with the thought of nine and went with it for a few minutes.
A little insight into how I think.
I don't know if that is good or bad.
Let me know if you have any questions.

I hope to do better tomorrow.
Stay safe, take care and thanks for being there.

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.

  1. Your big countdown is to your birthday I believe isn't it? So...what kind of celebration are you planning?

  2. I'm grateful I don't have young kids to entertain during this lockdown. I'd be on the wine by 8.00am.

  3. Dreaming, ah yes. Well at least you have something to do to pass the time. UK is pathetic, not a soul to speak to, no greetings when I meet someone, it's as if suddenly we are all scared to talk.

  4. LOL
Eating ice cream by the bucketful while day drinking? Fab!
I think people sheltering in place with kids really are feeling the burn. It's a LOT of work!
I liked your stream of consciousness post. Was that A Night at the Roxbury? There's nothing more nineties than that.
And OMG I remember Chris Kattan doing Mango with Garth Brooks! I have never been jealous of a fruit until that day! LOL Oh, Garth and his soul patch. Yum.

Stay safe. Looking forward to the next nine posts...

    XOXO

  6. Ice Cream out of a Crockpot while Day Drinking sounds like a Splendid Lock Down Activity! I actually got Dressed in Real Clothes Yesterday, to make a Take-Out Run for Vietnamese Food... I was of coarse a Vision in my Gloves, Mask, etc. after Suiting Up for the Death Run! And I haven't asked, but what is the Big Day?

  8. I'm in the midst of attempting to work and also keeping the kids busy. I'm thinking it will be going on much, much longer than we'd like. I'm trying to figure out my content for tonight's post, but we'll see when we get there.
