The COVID-19 quarantine lockdown started in mid-March for me and the family.
To help us keep our sanity, we have done a lot of exploring in the great state of Idaho.

It is definitely something I want to keep doing when the madness finally ends.
I hope to do better tomorrow.
Stay safe, take care and thanks for being there.
I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.
You and your family are making very good use of your time in "lockdown"! Those all look like wonderful places to visit and I imagine those trips have greatly reduced the stress of these recent days. I'm sure it makes it much easier for the kids as well.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Bonnie - you and your family are making good use of the time you have to spend as a family unit. I bet your kids will remember those trips with great fondness the rest of their lives.
ReplyDeleteKeep on keeping on, you're doing a grand job.

Stay safe. Tell Kyle thank
you for the card. xoxo :-)
Idaho boasts some stunning scenery. May the outdoors be doing you all good!
ReplyDeleteThis Ohio girl is impressed. My parents made sure we four kids saw this country, and every year we headed somewhere. This was the forties and fifties, and we camped. We made it as far west as Yellowstone. I kept the tradition up with my children. Actually, we just piled all six of mom's grandkids, plus mom, in the van and went. My nice collected a bottle of water from the Atlantic and from the Pacific. Good times. A wonderful thing you two are doing for the children.
ReplyDeleteLovely places to visit. I spent two summers in Idaho, running a camp north of Ketchum. I loved the state and always thought I would like to live there, but it never worked out. I do miss the hot springs that were nearby. There was one that I would retreat to at night, almost always I was alone... Hang in there.

Those are some pretty cool places! I think we need to take a break from yard work to go on a drive....anywhere.
