T-Minus 10 Days

From the Great White North comes some great questions from my longtime blogging buddy jenny_o, who is wonderful and I am grateful that we crossed paths. I can't remember exactly how we met but maybe she remembers. Do you jenny_o?

Hobbies: Blogging, working out, softball, trivia and watching TV/movies.
I did want to say napping but the penguin says no.
I thought about learning how to play the guitar again because I feel like my hobbies are pretty lame but we need to get our guitar looked at to see if it's salvageable.

Garden: No green thumbs in this house. Multiple plants have thought they were coming to a loving, nurturing home but little did they know ... we are plant serial killers.

Spirit Animal: Basset hound. I love them. Lots and lots of good memories since I have had one in my life since I was a teen. We have had Ms. Frizzle for almost 4 years and that is longest I have gone without a husky hound. I also love sharks and I think it would be cool to come back as one.

I hope to do better tomorrow.
Stay safe, take care and thanks for being there.

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.

  1. It's nice to hear about Ms.Frizzle. I have not been reading your blog long enough to know Ms. Frizzle but I will look forward to hearing about her in the future. The nap thing has been concerning me. I never used to take naps and this whole isolating deal has got me doing that more. I guess it's okay except when I sleep in the day time I don't want to get up!

  2. Haha
Softball? Oh dear. I have not played softball for umpteen years.
Now I know why you said what you said when I posted about plants.
Basset hound? I used to know one called Harley who stole pizzas from countertops. A total scoundrel.

    XOXO

  3. Basset Hounds - so sweet.
    Beagles and Labradors around here.
    Keep well, stay safe. :-)

  4. I can't remember how I found your blog, Mr. S. It's lost in the mists of time. But I'm glad we crossed paths, and I thank you for your kind words.

Hobbies aren't lame; they're just hobbies. Nothing wrong with yours. Maybe I think that because mine are similar but different - blogging, walking, reading, crafts. See? :D Good luck with your guitar. I've been thinking of starting with piano plunking again but first I have to find the piano under all my husband's papers.

We have something else in common - black thumbs. I too feel sorry for the plants that come to my house. I tend to blame the cats but it's really just me.

I should have remembered about you and basset hounds! I hope you find another one to live with you some day.
