T-Minus 28 Days

We tried out social distancing in Owhyee County today.
I was a little worried because Kyle and Hayden are friendly kids and we had Ms. Frizzle with us and she is definitely a fan of saying hi to strangers.
We were put to the test a few times but we managed to stay away from other people.
And by test, I mean making sure that lizards weren't people.

It wouldn't be the weirdest thing that happened this month.
Did you watch V?
OK. They were only lizards.
It was still tough.
But we did it.
It also helped that no one lives in Owhyee County.
OK.
Not true.
But not really that much of a lie.
The county is almost 7,700 square miles and only 11,628 people call it home or 1.5 people per mile.

We still had a good time and didn't break any self-isolation laws because I think Owhyee County has been in self-isolation since the last time there was a pandemic  Idaho became a state dinosaurs roamed the Earth Jesus turned water into wine a politician told the truth forever.

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.

  1. That looks like it would be an excellent way to get away from home for a bit. Your weather looks better than ours. We've had two snowstorms in the last three days. Great for making snowmen but I'm a little past that age.

  3. Wow, you really do have self-imposed social distancing.....
I have been hiking/walking nearly every day, just to nab some fresh air and leave the box we live in for an hour or so. We have a lot of open space, so other than passing another person (where you hold your breath for a bit, while nodding hello) there is no problem with being 6 ft away.
    Take care of yourselves!

  4. What a wonderful day trip. I guess those holes in the side of the cliff are swallow nests.

  5. What a perfect spot to get away! Last time we were out walking along the river we ran into a doggy client. Just made me miss them all more.
