T-Minus 27 Days

Today's adventure.
Any guesses on what happened?

If you want a quick weight loss program, I recommend cleaning out the shed.
Of course, you need to have a live animal in there that scares the shit out of you and your bowels are gone faster than a toupee in a hurricane.
I was moving stuff around and then all of a sudden I see an animal dart across the floor.

I was not prepared for that.
But, after I was done clutching my pearls, I realized that it was a bunny that had been hanging out by our rabbit run and somehow got locked in our shed.
We eventually caught him and put him in a cage to help him feel safe.
Then we turned him into the humane society and we hope that he gets ad-hopted.
For now, he is some bunny that we used to know.
Fur the love of God, I need to quit with these puns.
Sorry. They were ear-resistable.

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.

  1. Oh my! I get the fear you felt - I would have been the same way. I hate things that appear out of nowhere, especially if they are moving fast. I just discovered your blog through Joanne's blog (Cup on the Bus). I love your sense of humor. I went back far enough to see that this countdown is for your birthday, cool! Don't worry about feeling old. I thought I was old when I was your age and now that I'm my age I know I wasn't really old then! I make a lot of sense don't I? You have a great blog!

  2. Hee hee, a rabbit. How lovely, and what fun it provided. I mean, it's not every day a rabbit enters your domain. Hee hee can you detect a touch of jealousy?

  3. I've done a lot of the same around the house the last few days. It seems a good opportunity for accomplishing so many of those tasks that I'll get to "one of these days". I did not encounter a rabbit, but in Florida there's always the potential for snakes, possums and other critters.

  5. We have dozens of rabbits in our garden, they are all wild and the damage they cause is unbelievable. They even manage to pull out vents from the side of our house and get in under the floorboards. They chew through fences and gates. They look cute though.
