I thought I would share three good things with everyone today because it was a struggle for me on this second-to-last day in March. I have my theories on what was bothering me but I would rather focus on the positive. With that being said, here you go:
- I wasn't looking for it but I am glad it found me.
I needed a laugh today and this video did the job. - It seems weird that this would be a positive but it's a distraction from the negative.
After hearing a lot about the Joe Exotic documentary, I finally started watching it and I can see why it's being talked about. It's a fascinating trainwreck of monumental proportions. It is insane that a convicted drug dealer that was the inspiration for the movie "Scarface" might be the most normal person on this show.
- It's hard not to get down when you see nothing but terrible things online every single day. Fortunately, there are a few people out there trying to share some good news or how these events are bringing out the best of us or a daily update of uplifting stories.
Stay safe, take care and thanks for being there.
I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.
Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat. - F. Scott Fitzgerald
I can rely on wearing a broad smile when I visit your blog. Many thanks, and have a nice day.
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Goddess.
ReplyDeleteI also watched the Joe Exotic documentary. Describing it as a trainwreck cannot even cover it. Really. My mouth has agape 95% of the time. The bombastic personality. The outrageous behavior. The animal abuse. The culit-like atmosphere. Crazy and crazier. I could not stop watching.
And you are right. There's enough bad news out there to keep us depressed. Better focus on the good ones.
XOXO
We are in the middle of another
ReplyDeletewind storm. Maybe that's why
we're all ordered to stay home.
Take care, be well, xoxo to all.
I had the exact same reaction to the Scarface guy last night. It's so strange that in the midst of chaos, this show has united so many people. It's almost like Netflix was holding onto the show for just the right moment.
ReplyDeleteI've had a rough couple of days too. If I don't find things to laugh at, I will cry. Perhaps you will have an earthquake story tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that dog! Persistent or what!
ReplyDeleteFolks definitely need stress relief these days more than ever. Thanks for the smiles.
