Random Acts of Shifeness - Memories

What is happening? I am back home after spending a few days in Arizona for a work conference. It was nice to be in a warmer locale but I was glad to be home.

One of the highlights of the work trip was eating eat at a place called the Cornish Pasty. They had great beer and even better food. The picture above is my dinner. The bartender said it was a pound of food and every ounce of it was delicious.

Ms. Frizzle hopes you had a nice Valentine's Day. We made Mrs. Shife a card for the day. I don't know why but labradore made me LOL a lot yesterday.

Frizzy was glad to have me back home. I think mostly because I took her to the river. I know she loves me but I am pretty sure she loves the water more.

The Zuck (aka Mark Zuckerberg) (aka Facebook Overlord) thought I needed to be reminded of the days when I used to be a Facebook advocate and shared my thoughts on a somewhat regular basis. I am sharing them with you because they made me laugh and reminded me that sometimes I can be funny.

Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely weekend and I will talk to you soon.

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.

  1. Does Frizzle, after she gets out of the water, wait until she is just
beside you before she shakes? :-)

  4. Cornish Pasty, that takes me back... but not to the one you mentioned.
Wow! Is it THAT long ago when you were on Facebook? Time is flying too fast, slow down for goodness sake. Love the card the kids and you made. Things like that are real treasures.

  6. Umm, umm. Arizona is warmer than Idaho, but still serves a great pasty. Good on them. I taught my daughters to make a pasty, and one still does.

  7. I can't believe you haven't got the snow we have, so I guess the river will just have to do for Ms Frizz.

  8. Isn't that river still pretty cold? Maybe it doesn't matter to a lab!

    Labradore - that's a great play on words :)

Have a great week, Mr. Shife :)

  9. I've just returned from Arizona. The weather was a bit blah for my liking. A couple of warmer days but most of the week was a bit like being in the UK.

I could eat that pasty right now, but I'm on a diet. Sadly I haven't lost those additional Christmas pounds yet.

  10. Believe me, if it weren't for my kids, I would be moving to Arizona by now.
