Spring Break 2018

I apologize for my absence last week but we were off enjoying spring break. Woohoo.

Not that kind of that spring break.

More like this. It takes a long time to get to California from Idaho.
But at least we were heading to sunshine and leaving the snow behind.

It started snowing the morning we left and the area got 4 inches. Glad we missed that.

Hayden took some naps to pass the time.

Kyle practiced his photobombing skills.

We even had time for a family portrait.

But it was all worth it because the kids got to do a lot of this.

And Kyle got to celebrate his birthday with his cousins.

He also liked his cake. I know. I can't believe he's 9 either.

Ms. Frizzle also had a good time while we were away. We used Rover.com (thanks, kden) and it was a great experience. I highly recommend it.

But then it was time to head back home and get back on the road.

Frizzle was glad we were back home and Kyle and Hayden needed some down time to recover from their trip to California.

Well, that's all folks. Hope you are well, thanks for stopping by and I will talk to you soon.

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.

  3. 9, for heaven's sake, Kyle, will you please slow down. I can't keep up! It's good to know you all had a great time, and I hope your snow has gone.

  4. I'm so glad you had a great experience with Rover; makes me real happy! Cali looks so wonderful compared to the torrential rain we're getting today. That's a great looking BD cake!

  5. I hope mom and dad got some down time too before they had to return to work. Sounds like a wonderful trip with lots of memories made. Belated happy birthday to Kyle! Nine is almost ten is almost a teenager . . . scared yet? :D
