- We have another "F" bomb that we say a lot in our house and that word is Frizzle.
And, this week, her name was usually preceded by me taking the lord's name in vain.
Or followed by something that rhymes with brother trucker.
The Frizz was a busy girl.
Here's a list of items she took care of this week: A squirrel, a grout sponge, twothree bicycle helmets, a loaf of bread, a carton of eggs, a fully-cooked rack of ribs, and a laundry basket.
- I will be celebrating another trip around the sun next week. Festivities will include a viewing of "The Big Lebowski," a few adult beverages, and being with my favorite people.
- Speaking of my favorite people, here's one of Hayden's school pictures. Not too shabby.
- Quote of the week:
No longer forward nor behind I look in hope and fear; But grateful take the good I find, the best of now and here. - John G. Whittier - Recommendation of the week:
A band called Lord Huron. I discovered them watching the Netflix show"13 Reasons Why" which featured their song, "The Night We Met." It is haunting, heartbreaking, and beautiful music.
Well, that's it for this week. Have a good one and thanks for stopping by.
I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.
Adorable picture of Hayden :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd Frizzle - omg!I am both horrified and
impressed.
And Happy Bday. xoxoxox
Lovely picture of Hayden. Paintable. Take care.
ReplyDeleteLately I have had a problem finding new music to listen to, so any recommendations are appreciated. I'm pretty excited about seeing RCPM in June, as I am sure you could tell. They've played that venue a few times in the past, but I have never had the chance to see them. Until now. I have already warned my wife of the amount I'm probably spending at the merch table.
ReplyDeletedid the frizz have wonderful bowel movements after the feast on ribs?
ReplyDeletecan you put kyle on frizz patrol?
Somehow I don't think one squirrel balances out Ms. Frizzle's debt ... how many bike helmets is that now? I've lost track!
ReplyDeleteHappy upcoming birthday, Mr. S! Hope you have a great year.
Wonderful picture of your little girl; we never had school pictures like that- hers is very natural looking. And - dimples! how cute!
Ms. Frizzle has had a busy week! Hayden is a natural beauty, love that pic.

Go, go, go, Ms Frizzle, you're showing your true colours. Maybe now is a good time for some training but don't tell your Dad I said that. Matt, your daughter is a beautiful girl. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh, and happy birthday. Totally forgot to say that.
