Mr. Shife's March Madness - Day 16

Well that was fun.
I am glad everyone enjoyed the tale of my worst wet dream.
It was fun recalling those days. Definitely had no idea where I was going back then but what a fun, strange trip it has been to get to where I am at today.
Unfortunately, I don't have any other crazy stories to share at this moment. The only memories that were triggered today were how things are vastly different on St. Patrick's Day for me and Mrs. Shife.
After we graduated from college, we used to head down to Las Vegas every year to partake in the everyone is Irish celebration and also enjoy the college basketball excitement known as March Madness. It was pretty crazy down in Sin City and we had a lot of fun.
Sure I miss those days but I like these days a lot more.
Hope you and yours have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day weekend, and little Irish toast to help you celebrate: "As you slide down the banister of life, may the splinters never point in the wrong direction."

Kyle and Hayden enjoying something. I don't recall what it was exactly but it is definitely not a food that goes well with white onesies. I think Hayden had about a 50 percent success ration with her spoon which is why I think she was watching her brother so carefully so she could learn from the master.

I will persevere. I will keep moving forward. I will be the stream.

  1. Happy St Patrick's Day, Matt, and thanks for sharing this unique photo of Kyle and Hayden. Heehee, lesson to be learned there methinks, like huge black bibs when anything coloured is served.

  2. I bet Vegas is extra crazy on St. Patty's.

I remember some big time college parties. Well, I remember most of it.
