Happy to hear your dog came through the operation in good shape! I have had five basset hounds over the years and they are really something.
Someone once told me that they failed a test for dogs that involved having a towel draped over their heads... the more bright the dog, the sooner they shook the towel off of their heads. I say bull! A basset simply is not interested in proving things to people silly enough to put towels on their heads.
