Unsystematic Goings-On of Shifeness

  • OK that might be the worst title of a blog post ever. I have been doing a lot of Random Acts of Shifeness so I wanted to mix it up a little. A thesaurus can be dangerous in the wrong hands. Maybe they need to put a warning on that book. Something like with great power comes great responsibility. Or get on with it Mr. Shife you are being more painful than a date with a concrete dildo.

  • I have discovered two things on TV that I have become infatuated with - "The Flight of the Conchords" and "Rob & Big." Spend a little time on YouTube searching for these shows and you might LOL.

  • I got Obamarated this weekend. Barack paid a visit to my fair city and it was amazing. He may not be your guy but you owe it to yourself to hear the man speak. He is a dynamic and inspiring individual.

  • I swear on the fat basset being sandwiched between two Finnish dwarves and a Maori tribesmen that the first minute of "The Final Countdown" is the greatest music ever to my ears.

  • And just in case you are not sure that one guy you know is a douche bag this should really help you out:

  • I really appreciate you stopping by. In the immortal words of Elvis ... "Thank you, thank you very much."

and then maybe later
we'll get hot by the refrigerator
in the kitchen next to the pantry
you think that might be what you fancy?

Why would anyone pop their collar?

I think there are some really dumb things in his room that would suggest some serious douche baggery.

LOL... I like "Flight of the Concords".

And that's what a douchebag looks like? Thanks for the laugh. lol

excellent observations seem to be systematic in your postings.

i wouldn't want to get that douchebag mad at me, he looks as strong as he does stupid.

Very funny post mr.shife.

i'll do a search for Rob and big today and see what has caught your fancy. I have been enjoying the Flight of the Conchords since you recommended them, very much!

and just so we are clear, just because i enjoyed your post, doesn't mean i want to bum you

I am a big fan of Rob and Big, I love that show. The bulldog is awesome too, because that is what I have! They were on Carson Daly last night. I want one of those net guns haha

I am on the side of Clinton, but I like Obama as well just not sold that he has the experience

Sorry about the Heels Shife. But to be perfectly honest with ya, I was hoping there would be a way they'd both lose because I detest both teams. I hope this doesn't hurt our friendship hahaha

I got a video for you bro. It falls in line with determining who is and who isn't a douchebag.

Fresh from the Jersey short, "My New Haircut."

I think I'm the only person in the world who finds "Flight of the Concords" terminally depressing. Frankly it bores the shite out of me, no matter how hard I try to like it, just like the red Hot Chilli Peppers who stopped being good after "Higher ground" and U2 who stopped being good immediately prior to deciding forming a band might be a laugh.
"Californication" on Showtime on the other hand is a spectacular commentary on the East/West divide, the use of drugs casually in society, our intolerace of those who don't conform to sociological norms and questions our long held belief that love is eternal and momogomy is right for humans.
That and they show loads of fit girls with their tits out.
