We have to give Quincy some calming pills this weekend because the in-laws are coming to town. There will be about 12 people staying at our house and Quincy gets a little crazy when unfamiliar people come over. He has met them all before but unless you have taken him for a stroll he is not your pal and acts like a 2-year-old on a Cocoa Puffs high. So to make a long story short we give him some of these natural remedies that are suppose to help him be cool when the guests are over. Personally I think he is going to start smoking and drinking, but we will give the pills a shot and hope for the best.
He looks like a scotch drinker and cigar smoker to me. Sometimes I have to give our big dog benadryl when we have a lot of people over, the vet recommends 1mg per lb of dog, in case you need something stronger than scotch. She weighs 70 lbs but I found a 25mg did fine w/ her, just took the edge off, I have to do that around the firework holidays also and sometimes during stormy days. I hope you have a great weekend!
