Thought of the day
Neither of the girls is a fan of the bathtub, but they express their betrayal in completely different ways.
Frizzle goes the "silent martyr" route. She just sulks and tolerates the indignity with a quiet nobleness. Even when she’s clearly miserable and soaking wet, she still manages to look like she’s smiling. Honestly, Frizz is just the best.
Lucy, on the other hand, prefers a more... vocal approach. She waits until we get home to let us know exactly how she feels about our life choices. She puts on a full song-and-dance routine to express her outrage. Make sure your sound is on for this one so you can hear the full weight of her grievances.
Talk to you tomorrow.
I will persevere.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.
I will keep moving forward.
I will be the stream.
I bet Lucy was just about dry after using your bedspread as a towel.
ReplyDeleteShe tried her hardest to get that smell off of her.
DeleteFrizzle endures, Lucy resists!
ReplyDeleteExactly!!
DeleteFrizzle persists, Lucy resists, Mr S insists.
DeleteThat made my day, even if it disturbed Pat a little bit.
ReplyDeleteSo awesome to hear, Kelly!
DeleteSo long as neither of them bite you, you're ahead of the game!
ReplyDeleteBut, I believe, the thought definitely crossed their mind.
DeleteThat's so funny. My dog tries to rub the water off on everything after a bath. Then gets the zoomies.
ReplyDeleteI swear my dog seemed to enjoy getting skunked or rolling in a pile of something rotten IMMEDIATELY after any bath. You’re getting off lucky.
ReplyDeleteOne should wash livestock who really don't want a bath.
ReplyDeleteYou can get a broken nose from that.
DeleteMari really didn't like me watching those videos!
ReplyDeleteMy lab Howie loves the water. He's getting his own pool this summer.
ReplyDeleteToo funny, Lucy's trying to wipe the clean off.
