I Am Going To Give Until It Hurts

For one day only, I am offering you the opportunity of a lifetime -- the phrase of the day.

"Cock juggling thunder cunt."

Please spread the words
and as Journey would say, Don't stop believin'.

And just in case you now have that song stuck in your head, here are the lyrics.

Just a small town girl, livin’ in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin’ anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south detroit
He took the midnight train goin’ anywhere

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people, living just to find emotion
Hiding, somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill,
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin’ anything to roll the dice,
Just one more time
Some will win, some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

(chorus)
Don’t stop believin’
Hold on to the feelin’
Streetlight people

  5. That song is worse than any song that Styx did....

  6. I can't help but wonder who your inspiration for that particular phrase could be...

  7. Dang-- that was going to be the title of my autobiography and now you gave it away!!! BTW, I do so enjoy having Journey songs stuck in my head. Second only to Foghat SLOW RIDE over and over again in my head...

  8. Okay, I Googled that exact phrase and there were eight pages of hits. Eight! And, sadly, you weren't on the first page. Maybe if you modified it to include gnomes (as in "gnome cock juggling thunder cunt" or "cock juggling gnome thunder cunt"), you'd stand a chance of a number one search phrase.

In other words, I got nothing.

  9. Ann -- Yes it does. I am expecting a call from Hallmark.

    DG -- Please do.

ME -- I don't know. I heard it somewhere and I just thought I would share. Maybe someone else might know where it came from.

Nicole -- Come on live a little.

LB -- Journey worse than Styx. I think I might have to challenge you to a duel.

Duck -- Honestly it was some chick on the freeway who was more interested in putting on her makeup than driving.

ST -- I think you should use it anyway even though I can't believe you would ever be described as that type of person.

Scarlett -- Eight pages? I didn't think it was that popular. I am going to have to look at those results so I can remember where I heard it from.

  14. Ohhhh, that song still haunts me as an awful reminder of the 2005 World Series... I already stopped believin'.

  17. The only worse than that one was We Built This City.

oh, and that phrase left me speechless.

  18. Sorry to rain on your parade, Shifey, but Journey is a pretty horrific band.

  19. I've often thought of putting Journey onto my iPod. But like I was telling the Duck in Quacking Up, my iPod already plays funky when on random play. I have music by John Legend, Eminem, Black Eyed Peas, 50 cent and then lots and lots of country. So to go from Eminem's "Ass Like That" to "Must Be Doing Something Right" by Billy Currington or "There Goes My Life" By Kenny Chesney is always funky!

  23. I am so lost. But now I have Steve Augeri's voice lulling me to a peaceful sleep.....

  24. Or is it Steve Perry?

I have no idea...I am very ignorant and had to "Google" it, and now I am confused as I listen to very little classic rock.

  25. My dad would be in awe mr.shife. You gave him a run for his money with this one.
Last time I got really hammered, 7/22/05 in fact, my phrase for the day was "fuck me runnin' with a chainsaw". I think my dad also made this one up as I have never heard anyone else use it. I have no idea what it means but when I drink, I turn into the drunken sailorette, not pretty.

But like ngregory00 said "I lack the stones for this one."
